ShipEntegra IOSS Service
Ensure a seamless transition of your business or marketplace to the new EU VAT system with our Import One-Stop-Shop (IOSS) solutions.

What is IOSS?
The Import One Stop Shop (IOSS) is a portal where businesses can declare and pay VAT for sales of goods imported into the EU. Before July 1, 2021, products with a value of up to 22 Euros were exempt from VAT. With the reform, VAT exemptions have been abolished, and all goods sent to the EU are now subject to VAT. For goods with a value not exceeding 150 Euros, sellers can choose to declare and pay VAT using the IOSS system. If IOSS is chosen, no VAT is paid during the shipping of goods with a value of up to 150 Euros to the EU. VAT is paid by the buyer as part of the sale price during the sale.

Fewer Bureaucratic Procedures
With the IOSS system, you can easily complete processes such as VAT declaration, payment, and collection.
Centralized Customs Processing
After July 1, 2021, sellers without an IOSS number will no longer be able to process customs through a single point. The seller will need to arrange direct access to the country where the sale was made.
Fast Delivery
The transactions of sellers registered with IOSS will be completed very quickly. Therefore, a fast delivery process will take place. Non-registered products will be delayed due to customs procedures and will experience a long delivery process.
Seamless and Simple Transactions
If you are registered with IOSS, your customers will not need to make any additional payments, such as VAT or customs fees, when their products enter EU countries.
No Customs and Other Fees
Your customers will not want to encounter unknown tax and customs fees. Therefore, offering a VAT-inclusive price at the time of sale is healthier.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How can I register for the IOSS system?
If you are selling on a marketplace like Etsy or eBay, you do not need to register for the IOSS system, as they share their IOSS numbers with sellers. However, if you are selling through your own website, this is not the case. To register for IOSS, you must have a company in Turkey. Then, you can obtain an IOSS number through an agency that provides IOSS numbers.
Is it mandatory to register with the IOSS system?
It is not mandatory to register with the IOSS system. However, it should be noted that if you do not register with the IOSS system, you may face additional costs and experience delays in the delivery of your shipments.
How is IOSS applied to e-commerce shipments?
If the value of the goods sold on online marketplaces is less than 150 Euros, VAT is collected from the buyer at the time of sale. This ensures that the buyer does not encounter unexpected costs, and there are no issues with delivery. The responsibility for showing the VAT on the product at the point of sale lies with the marketplace or e-retailer selling the product.
Can I use the IOSS number of the marketplace I sell on?
You can use the IOSS number of the marketplace you are selling on. Make sure to use the correct IOSS number for sales made on different marketplaces.
In which EU countries is the IOSS system valid?
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.
Each of the countries listed above has different IOSS registration systems, as those registered with the IOSS programs in the respective countries will be managed by the local tax authorities of that state.
Can I share my IOSS number with other businesses?
Do not share your IOSS number with third parties! The IOSS number should only be used for customs declarations.
If you find that a third party is using your IOSS number, you should contact the tax office where your IOSS is registered as soon as possible.
What are the VAT rates for all EU countries?
VAT rates vary from country to country. Businesses seeking more detailed information on these rates are advised to visit the EU taxation page directly; this page:
